Mom Demands Discount from Fake Student Who Got a C When He Took Son’s Exam

A mother paid a professional cheating company to take online college classes for her son – then demanded a discount when they only gained a C grade. Karen Littlefair, 57, was jailed for five weeks on Wednesday after admitting paying $9,000 to have a fraudster take her son’s classes at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Littlefair, from Newport in California, groveled as she was sentenced, saying she was ‘truly sorry’ for the ‘nightmare’ she had inflicted on her family. The socialite, who has hosted fundraisers for top Republican politicians, continued: ‘I acted out of love for my son but I ended up hurting my son greatly.’

The sneaky mom was one of 50 people charged as part of an ongoing college admissions scandals – with other convicted cheat parents including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin.

Littlefair decided to call in prohibited help in 2017 after her son was put on probation for failing to meet the required standard for one of his classes at Georgetown. She drafted in admissions consultant Rick Singer, who also helped other parents get their children into prestigious colleges using fake credentials.

And the entitled mother even demanded a discount after the fake student, who took four classes, only mustered a C grade in one exam.

Singer – who is awaiting sentencing after admitting four felonies last March – refused to give Littlefair money off, and told her the experience had been ‘a nightmare for all.’
