My Favorite Hole in Golf
I've been lucky enough to play some of the worlds great courses, often with some of golf's most celebrated players and many notable celebs. For pure jaw dropping beauty where the only three words that can come out of your mouth as you approach the tee box are "Oh my God!!!"... in my opinion, it’s this hole that takes the cake. I've played it probably 40 plus times and to this day I still get chills when I see the tee box coming into view. Welcome to the Par three 12th hole at The Challenge at Manele on the island of Lanai in Hawaii! From the tips, 205 yards forced carry over the cliffs and water. Bill Gates could have chosen anywhere on earth to be married and he picked this green to tie the knot. Just a quick note to thank you all for your well wishes with our baby boy Beckett. He's now been home for over 2 weeks and is doing gangbusters. The fluid in his chest cavity has miraculously cleared itself up, and he was called "Our miracle baby" by the NICU nursing staff at Yale New Haven when he returned for a check up this past week. His parents sleep schedule has certainly changed (my eyes say it all in the included photo), and multi-tasking has taken on an all new meaning since his arrival. We love every minute of it...

My thanks also to Frank DiGiacomo and the good folks at the New York Daily News Gatecrasher column for posting the attached piece in the Sunday paper. Daddy hopes that next time he's mentioned in the paper will be as the new starting striker for his beloved Arsenal FC. Although Mommy votes for starting quarterback at USC...
