Authorities are keeping an eye on a Pennsylvania woman who tried to poison a male acquaintance with eye drops – because she wanted to get his attention
Vickie Jo Mills started giving the evil eye to Thurman Nesbitt clear back in 2009, when she began spiking his drinking water with squirts of Visine – causing him a variety of health problems, including nausea and breathing problems. Doctors finally ran tests on the man earlier this year and found high levels of a chemical compound that eye drop manufacturers use to help remove redness, which led them to believe he'd been poisoned.
A police source says, “She never meant to kill him, [she] only wanted to make him pay more attention to her." (New York Daily News)
