Half of Theory Of A Deadman sits in and jokes around during their interview, they discuss the new album, Savages, performing new records for the fans and talk Rock being dead.
Dave on playing the new songs for the fans,
"Yeah, I'm excited cause it's happened every record where you start playing shows and then the fans star yelling songs and we always have a really good indication of what songs our fans like from the record, just from the shows. They come to the shows, you'll hear them yelling for certain songs so I think we're all excited to see what the Theory fans are going to gravitate to on this record."
Tyler Working with Howard Benson,
"He's been around a long time. He was kind of at the birth of the digital age. He was one of the first producers to use Protools and everyone was telling him 'no computers it's just going to phase out, no one's ever going to do a rock record."
Jonathan asks Theory Of A Deadman to talk about the song, "Blow" on the album. He says, "you got everybody, you covered everybody in that song, like a pop culture statement of the world."
Tyler on Blow,
"Well it needed to be said, I can't be the only one, I don't watch a lot of TV but on the tour bus we get TV and watch current event and it'd be Kanye will say something silly somewhere saying he's God or he wants to invent leather jogging pants. He's kind of a parody himself and you know what he's a human being and so is Chris Brown and I don't want people making fun of me but the song is tongue and sheek. It's not like we're out there trying to really dig at these people and hope that they hear this and feel bad."
Theory Of A Deadman will be performing at Starland Ballroom Oct. 8 in Sayreville, New Jersey. Watch the full length interview below.
