REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin is calling the band's upcoming DVD "the definitive performance" from this incarnation of the group.
"Live at Moondance Jam" showcases the group's set at the 2010 edition of the annual Minnesota festival, which Cronin says was a great show.
He tells UltimateClassicRock.com the band had been trying for years to capture one of their concerts on video, but "there was always something that messed it up." But Kevin says at this particular show "it just all came together." He explains that "the weather was perfect," the crowd of more than 30,000 fans "was psyched," the band "had a smokin' night," and there were no technical problems with the filming.
The rocker adds that the group is "very, very proud of this thing," and glad to see it's finally getting released.
REO Speedwagon's "Live at Moondance Jam" will arrive on November 19th.
