A little girl said that “monsters” were in her closet, and but the monster was actually 50,000 bees!
The girls mother was terrified to find that the handful of bees that had flown into the attic of the couple’s North Carolina home bult a massive hive inside of their walls. A pest control company, used a thermal camera to reveal that the sound their daughter heard was not a monster.
“At first, I thought it was a body,” Ashley Massis Class said. “I was like, ‘What is that?’ And he says he thinks it’s a hive.”
For eight months, a swarm of honeybees built a hive inside the wall of her daughter’s room. Beekeepers removed tens of thousands of bees, and a honeycomb weighing more than 100lbs. The bees were relocated to a bee sanctuary, the little girl was reassured that the monster in her wall was gone.
